NTT Electronics Corporation today announced that it will discontinue manufacturing their line of MPEG-2 video encoders and decoders. Final orders for the following products will be accepted up to September 30, 2010:
- HE5100: MPEG-2 HDTV/SDTV Encoder
- HD5100: MPEG-2 HDTV/SDTV Decoder
- HE5000: MPEG-2 HDTV/SDTV Encoder
- HD5000: MPEG-2 HDTV/SDTV Decoder
- SCE5000: MPEG-2 SDTV Encoder
